Georgia football is flying high entering the College Football Playoff after dominating Alabama in the SEC Championship game. The Bulldogs have now won nine straight games and have all the confidence in the world that they can win a National Championship this season.
Even people outside of Georgia are turning into believers as well, and after watching his team lose to Georgia in Atlanta former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron shared that he loves the Bulldogs chances to win a national title this season.
“I think Georgia is possibly the hottest team in the country. Their defense is flying around, their offense is taking care of the football, they can run it… They’re playing well, it was an ass-whooping”

AJ McCarron is buying all the Georgia stock
McCarron is Alabama royalty. There aren’t many quarterbacks who had a better career than he did even during the height of Nick Saban’s tenure, so there is no one who wants to see the Crimson Tide succeed more than he does. Knowing that, it might be difficult for him to admit just how good Georgia looks, but he had no choice after how badly they beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game.
McCarron believes Georgia is the hottest team in the country entering the playoff, and it’s hard to argue against that. The Bulldogs have won nine straight games which includes victories over Ole Miss, Texas and Alabama. On top of that, they have also turned into a complete team with their defense and offense playing at an extremely high level.
Georgia is capable of beating any team in the playoff, and McCarron knows that. So even though Georgia is probably the last team he wants to see win it all this season, it’s impossible for him to deny how great their chances are at doing so.
