It's only been a few days since Georgia beat Auburn, so naturally there is still a lot of discussion taking place about the game. A lot of those discussions surround the many controversial moments which include Jackson Arnold's goal line fumble, but at the end of the day most college football fans recognize that Georgia won this game fair and square.

That however is not stopping Auburn tight end Preston Howard from making an insane claim. According to Howard, he believes Auburn is "way better" than Georgia even after he and the Tigers lost to Georgia by 10 points on Saturday.

"I truly believe that we are way better than Georgia."

It's one thing to be confident and it's another thing to be delusional. This statement from Howard is much closer to delusion than high confidence in his team.

Could Auburn have beat Georgia Saturday night? Absolutely they could have. If Georgia and Auburn played again would the Tigers have a good chance to win? No doubt about it. But to claim Auburn is "way better" than Georgia isn't even close to true.

The first half of Saturday night's game proves that Auburn is a very good team. Auburn was dominant for the first 28 minutes of the game and looked like they actually were the way better team. But football is a game that lasts 60 minutes, and the final half of the game was dominated by Georgia.

The Bulldogs had total control of the game both on offense and defense after Arnold's fumble, and that is why they won the game and are without a doubt the better team.

At some point Auburn needs to look in the mirror and just accept defeat. This statement from Howard likely stems from all of the controversial moments that Auburn felt went Georgia's way. And while there is a little truth to that, really good teams still find a way to win. And that is exactly what Georgia did and that is why they once again are the better team for the ninth season in a row.
