Georgia is known for producing some of the best defensive talent in the NFL. Though this season does not provide as many stars as usual, there are still some significantly underrated Bulldogs entering the draft this year... not only on defense, but special teams too.
Daylen Everette - Miami Dolphins
Despite some significant injuries occurring on offense, Miami's biggest problem in 2025 was arguably the secondary. After Jalen Ramsey's departure, the Dolphins have not really had a standout guy at the cornerback position. Not only does Daylen Everette play like Ramsey, but he could also be the boost they need to revamp their scoring defense.
Everette was elite at creating turnovers at Georgia, especially on the biggest stages. Miami could follow the same formula as division rival New England by focusing first on having a lock-down secondary in the draft before going out and rebuilding the offense.
JaCorey Thomas - Kansas City Chiefs
After going a surprising 6-11 in 2025, the Chiefs need some things to go right to get back to the top. A key addition that could help them in doing that is JaCorey Thomas. The AFC West is now loaded with offenses that have offenses that can kill you in several different ways.
Thomas was a guy at Georgia that could do a little bit of everything. Having the extra depth in Thomas that can also be used in several different ways on defense could be a major boost to Kansas City.
Brett Thorson - Indianapolis Colts
This pick would just be a fun one for the city of Indianapolis. Not only is Brett Thorson arguably the best punter in the draft, but he could also be heading to the city of Pat McAfee. Having an All-SEC punter for the Colts would be loved by everyone in the city, and Thorson being an extremely likeable guy could make headlines almost immediately if taken in the draft.
Thorson proved at Georgia he could be a game changer, and Indianapolis could be looking to get the same.
