How does the NFL Draft work?
The order of the NFL Draft has already been determined based on every teams record from this past season. How teams performed in the playoffs also impacts the order set for the draft as well. The current order of the draft for each round can be viewed here.
While the order of the draft is already set, this will change as teams will either trade away their top pick for more picks later in the draft, or give up all of their picks to move up the draft board and make their selection earlier.
The draft begins with round one where teams will have 10 minutes to make their pick. The first round is the round with the most TV production as many of the players selected will be in attendance so they can walk up on stage when they hear their name. Round two drops down to seven minutes per pick with rounds three through six having five minutes per pick. The seventh and final round gives teams just four minutes to make their picks.
How many Georgia players have been drafted?
Georgia ended with 13 Bulldogs drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, with seven players coming on the defensive side of the ball and another six coming on offense.
