Former Georgia football quarterback Carson Beck gets to face a lot of new teams this season with Miami (FL) that he normally would never get to play at Georgia. That however isn’t the only big difference between his upcoming schedule with Miami and what he saw while playing at Georgia.
In fact, Miami’s schedule this season is about as beneficial to a new starting quarterback as it can possibly be.

Carson Beck and Miami will not leave Florida until November
All it takes is a quick look at Miami’s schedule this season to see how fortunate Beck and the Hurricanes are. Somehow Miami doesn’t have to leave the state of Florida for a game until the month of November.
To be fair to Miami, this doesn’t mean their schedule is easy by any means. The Hurricanes first game of the season is a home date against Notre Dame followed by another home game against Florida three weeks later. Miami also travels to Florida State before hosting Louisville and Stanford before finally leaving the Sunshine State to travel to Texas to play SMU.
Getting to play six of their first seven games at home with the seventh still being in their home state is something that never happens at Georgia. This year the Bulldogs travel out of state to play Tennessee for their third game of the season. Looking back at the two seasons Beck was Georgia’s starter QB, UGA left the state of Georgia three times in 2023 and 2024 before the month of November.
Who knows how Miami was able to pull off such a generous start to their season, but one thing is certain. If Miami can find a way to beat Notre Dame week one, hype surrounding the Hurricanes and Beck will reach an all time high.
