This may not have been the prettiest game Georgia football has ever played, but the Bulldogs handled their business and beat UMass 59-21 on Saturday.

The Georgia defense was not great on Saturday to say the least, but the UGA offense was firing on all cylinders. Everyone on offense played very well in this game, but two guys really stood as they dominated UMass during their respective halves.

1st half - Carson Beck

Carson Beck just had one of the best performances of his career last week against Tennessee. But instead of having issues with consistency and having an off game against UMass, he played just as well against UMass.

Georgia’s offense had the ball four times in the first half, and all four drives ended with a touchdown pass from Beck. Even against a team like UMass, that is wildly impressive.

Beck continued playing well the rest of the game, but his friend in the backfield was the story of the second half.

2nd half - Nate Frazier

The Georgia running back room is still in a very bad place as three backs were all out once again against UMass. So everyone knew Nate Frazier was going to get a heavy dose of carries this game, and he did not disappoint.

For as good as Beck was in the first half, Frazier was equally as good in the second half. Frazier found the end zone not once, not twice, but three times all in the second half. He also totaled an impressive 136 yards on the ground as well.

So even though Georgia’s defense did not look great at all against UMass, the offense stepped up and carried the team until the defense started playing better. And if Beck and Frazier continue to play this well, then the sky is the limit for this Georgia team.
