A look inside where all the experts have the Georgia Bulldogs in one single source.

Everyone knows a lot of things can go right or wrong over the summer. However, experts still love to chime in and explain their top 25 rankings for the season once the spring games come to a close.

While the Georgia Bulldogs being in the top 10 is a given, exactly where they fall on that list is another. To give a better idea of where Georgia's roster currently is, here is what all the experts have to say about the Bulldogs.

Mark Schlabach (ESPN): No. 3

Mark Schlabach of ESPN gave a relatively safe ranking of Georgia at No. 3 in the country with no complaints listed. Instead, he gave the Bulldogs, specifically Kirby Smart, credit where credit was due.

Schlabach commented on how Smart was able to "win the program's second straight SEC title and reach the CFP again" despite having the second-youngest team in 2025.

Josh Pate (On3): No. 7

Normally a guy pretty high on the Bulldogs, Josh Pate actually has Georgia ranked lower than anyone else on this list. Pate did not give much of an explanation on this one, just stating this team "isn’t Kirby Smart’s team of a few years ago when they won back-to-back titles. But if they put it all together down the stretch in 2026, would anyone be truly surprised?"

Erick Smith & Paul Myerberg (USA Today): No. 4

I still cannot seem to understand how many times it will take Georgia beating Texas for experts to rank the Bulldogs over them, but other than that Erick Smith and Paul Myerberg from USA Today had a solid ranking of Georgia at four. The only flaw they point out is the amount of depth lost at wide receiver this past season but give plenty of credit to the returning production coming into Athens.

Joel Klatt (Fox Sports): No. 5

A widely recognized voice in the college football world calling BIG10 games alongside Gus Johnson, fans tend to take Joel Klatt's opinion seriously. In his rankings, he has Georgia as the fifth best team in the country so far. However, it is hard to take this one very seriously. He has Oregon as the best team in the country and notably has three BIG10 teams inside the top four, including an Indiana team who just lost a program record eight players to the draft.

JD Pickell (On3): No. 1

In a much more favorable ranking than his work colleague Pate, JD Pickell has Georgia as the early favorite in college football, coming in at number one. In his post on Twitter, Pickell made his explanation of his rankings very clear: "Call w/ your #1 complaint. 629-888-3931."
