Gunner Stockton returns to Georgia for one more season as their starting quarterback. Fans do not have to worry about Stockton this season as he has already proven how great of a player he is, but what about life after Stockton?
What will happen to Georgia after he is gone next year? Or worse, what will Georgia do if he gets injured during the season?
Georgia has a few unproven quarterbacks behind Stockton who can step in this season if needed, but the thought of playing with anyone but Stockton has been very concerning. But after one week of spring practices insider intel is revealing that backup quarterback Ryan Puglisi is "turning heads and making noise."

Life without Gunner Stockton at Georgia may not be so bad
The last thing anyone wants to think about is playing without Stockton. It's impossible to not think about that though because at some point the fear of plaing without him will become reality, and that could come sooner than later if he were to get hurt this season.
Thankfully those fears are subsiding because of the noise Puglisi is making this offseason. Puglisi was Stockton's backup last season and that will certainly be his role again this year. He has not played a meaningful down of football yet in his career, and that is why people may be worried for when he has to replace Stockton.
But every quarterback has to start somewhere. Just last year fans were freaking out about Stockton taking over and now he has turned into one of the best quarterbacks in the country. So while it's still scary thinking about someone other than Stockton playing, fans shouldn't worry about that as much as they did last year.
Georgia's main focus this offseason is helping Stockton get even better. All signs point towards him accomplishing just that during Georgia's first spring practices, but Puglisi's development behind Stockton is arguably just as important. Thankfully it sounds like he is showing that Georgia's life without Stockton isn't something that needs to be feared anymore.
