Colbie Young is going to miss significant time with a lower-leg injury. He suffered the injury in the first quarter after leaving the field on a successful flea flicker that resulted in a 36-yard gain
Young came into the game as Georgia's top producing receiver. He has 23 catches for 336 and a touchdown this season. A former transfer from Miami, Young was able to receive a waiver to return to Georgia for his redshirt senior season.

Kirby Smart confirmed the news in his post-game press conference after Georgia earned a 43-35 win over Ole Miss.
"I should know what it is, it's not good. It's a fracture down there. It's broken. I can'rt remember if it was tibula or fibula. I don't know which one, but it's not good," Smart said.
Despite the injury to Young, Georgia racked up over 500 yards in Saturday's win. Zachariah Branch got the bullk of the receiving work in the game and finished with eight catches for 71 yards. Tight end Luckie Lawson caught three touchdown passes and running back Dillon Bell had a 36-yard catch-and run.
Lawson Luckie impressed me in the summer with some of his route running at 6’4”, 240 pounds. Cuts a tight angle and makes a tough catch on his third TD of the day.

"I hate to see that, Colbie is a great guy and I hope.he'll be alright," quarterback Gunner Stockton said.."Everybody just kind of stepped up and said next man up."
Another week, another second-half rally
Bulldog fans might have to get used to these second-half rallies because they are here to stay.
Georgia trailed 21-20 at halftime, but coming out of the break, Ole Miss extended the lead to eight with a touchdown pass from Trinidad Chambliss to De'Zhaun Stribling and the Bulldogs entered the fourth quarter down 35-26.
But Georgia scored again to make it 35-33 and from there the Bulldogs defense tightened up to get the ball back to the offense. Stockton threw his fourth touchdown pass of the game to give Georgia its first lead of the second half.
"You play the way we played defensively, most of the time you're going to lose the game, but as bad as we played on defense...that's a really good offense," Smart said. "When you go up against Lane, they have really good weapons, they've got a good plan and the quarterback run element for them, makes it hard to defend."
