Sunday night marked one of the biggest games in week one of college football as No. 6 Notre Dame traveled south to take on No. 10 Miami (FL). Georgia football fans obviously were paying close attention to this game as it was their first chance to watch former Bulldog quarterback Carson Beck take the field since leaving Georgia, and Beck did not disappoint.

Beck finished the night completing 20 of 31 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns en route to the Hurricanes 27-24 victory over the Irish.

College football fans immediately took to social media to discuss this game, with many of them debating what Beck's performance tells them about Georgia last season. Some fans were even suggesting that Georgia's problems last season had nothing to do with Beck after seeing him play so well.

This post sent Georgia fans into a frenzy as fans were asking what problems Georgia even had last season after winning the SEC and being the No. 2 overall seed in the College Football Playoff.

Did Georgia have a Carson Beck problem in 2024?

Every Georgia fan knows that UGA had a lot of problems last season. Ev thoenugh the team still won the SEC, there were a lot of things Georgia could have done better that would have led to a more successful season. One of those things undoubtedly was the play from Beck.

Sure Georgia struggled to run the ball, had an inconsistent defense and had wide receivers drop a lot of passes, but Beck had his issues as well. Did people already forget that he had multiple games with three interceptions? What about his lack of leadership that was widely discussed after he chose to leave Georgia?

Regardless of how good or bad Beck was at Georgia last season, it's hard to say Georgia was a team full of problems after they won they SEC. But if people are going to list Georgia's problems from the 2024 season, Beck has to be included because he was not a great quarterback for much of the sesaon.

But as the above post states, Beck's move to Miami appears to be a win for Georgia and the Hurricanes as both programs appear to be in a good spot right now.
