Former Georgia football running back D'Andre Swift made headlines during the Chicago Bears Monday Night Football win over the Washington Commanders. The Bears escaped with a 25-24 victory, but Swift was all anyone will be talking about after the game.
Swift did a little bit of everything to help the Bears win on Monday, and this included pulling off the rare feat of leading the team both in rushing and receiving yards.

Swift dominated Washington out of the backfield all night long as he carried the ball 14 times for an impressive 108 yards. This gave him a 7.7 yards per carry average which is about as good as it gets.
Swift unfortunately did not find the end zone on the ground, but he made up for that with a massive 55-yard touchdown catch which ended up being the game-winning touchdown.

Swift this season hast tallied 295 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 70 carries for the Bears. He also has hauled in 15 receptions as well for an additional 152 yards and one touchdown.
Swift's versatility is what separates him in the NFL. There aren't many players capable of leading their team through the air and on the ground, but that is something no Georgia fan will be surprised to see after all the success he found in Athens during his college career.
With this victory the Bears move to 3-2 on the season which still has them tied for last place in the loaded NFC North. But the first place Green Bay Packers sit at 3-1-1, so the Bears aren't too far behind the division leaders right now.
Up next for Swift and the Bears is a home date with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Oct. 19.
