Saturday marks the first time this season that Georgia football is being featured on ESPN's College GameDay. ESPN's flagship program has descended on Knoxville, TN for Georgia's SEC opener against No. 15 Tennessee, and there is already a lot of drama surrounding this game.
GameDay is already diving into this matchup and discussing where Georgia and Tennessee have advantages. They also are sharing some intriguing stories about both teams as well. And while all of these topics have direct impacts on the game, the GameDay crew is choosing to have some fun as well.
Unfortunately the latest joke made on the show came at the expense of Uga, as Desmond Howard quoted Lee Corso by saying, "That dog is ugly!"

Desmond Howards gives a shoutout to Lee Corso at the expense of Uga
Corso may no longer be on College GameDay after retiring earlier this season, but he will always have an impact on the show for as long as it is on the air. And Howard calling Uga ugly is the perfect example because Corso went viral back in the day for this exact same quote.
It's unfortunate that this joke came at the expense of Georgia, but college football fans and analysts can make all the jokes they want. Georgia knows what the most important thing of the day is, and that is beating Tennessee for the ninth year in a row.
Georgia is favored by 4.5 points over Tennessee, but ESPN gives the slight edge to the Volunteers. Regardless of what anyone thinks, this game could go either way. Georgia is going to have to be at their best today to beat a Tennessee team who has one of the hottest offenses in the country and wants nothing more than to end their embarrassing losing streak to UGA.
But if Saturday's game goes anything like the previous eight years, it will be Georgia who has the last laugh at the end of the night.
