Thanksgiving is supposed to bring out the best in everyone. This is the time of year when everyone can reflect on the good in their life and the things they can be thankful for.

But when it comes to football rivlaries, even Thanksgiving can't bring two hated rivals together.

Dominic Lovett hilariously trolls Georgia Tech

The Detroit Lions earlier this week went around and asked some of their players to say one nice thing about their college rival, and former Georgia wide receiver Dominic Lovett did the exact opposite and hilariously trolled Georgia Tech.

"Georgia Tech wishes they were Georgia."

What nice words from Lovette. But when it comes to this rivalry, there is a lot of truth to it.

Georgia has been completely dominant over Georgia Tech over the last two decades, and that was especially the case while Lovett was in Athens because he never lost to his in-state rival. The Bulldogs are currently on a seven game win streak against Georgia Tech, but giong back to 2001 Georgia has been in complete control of this rivalry.

Since 2001, Georgia has won 20 of 23 matchups against the Yellow Jackets. So while Georgia Tech likes to act like they can compete with UGA, the reality is they have been nowhere near Georgia this century.

Georgia will look to make it eight straight wins against Georgia Tech on Friday in Atlanta. The Bulldogs are favored by a whopping 14.5 points, so all signs are pointing to Georgia being able to extend their streak for another year.

So while everyone at Georgia might struggle like Lovett to say something nice about Tech, every Bulldog should be thankful that they are on UGA's schedule every year. This rivalry has turned into a free win for Georgia over the last two decades, and that is a good enough reason for every Georgia fan to be thankful for Georgia Tech this year.
