ESPN College GameDay guest picker announced for Georgia football vs. Tennessee
Georgia football has the biggest game of the weekend quickly approaching as they are set to take on No. 7 Tennessee at Sanford Stadium on Saturday. Due to this being such a massive game, ESPN's College GameDay will be in Athens for their pregame show on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am EST.
College GameDay is one of the most exciting shows each week, and that excitement will be center stage at Georgia with the entire country watching.
One of the best segments each week on GameDay is the final segment when the crew predicts the winner of multiple games throughout the country. And every week, the crew brings out a guest picker who has ties to that week's host school.
So who will be the guest picker this Saturday when GameDay is in Athens? There are many great options GameDay could select, but GameDay just announced on Thursday who their guest picker will be.
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes
GameDay has announced that WWE superstar Cody Rhodes will be the guest picker on Saturday during their show. Rhodes is one of the biggest stars on WWE, and is a massive Georgia football fan. So he surely will bring the energy to the show and be singing the praises of Georgia the entire time he is on set.
This is Georgia's third game of the season that will be featured on GameDay. The Bulldogs are 1-1 in their previous two games after their close loss to Alabama and dominant win against Texas.
This time however Georgia will get to host GameDay, which is clearly a lot more fun than taking part in the festivities on the road.
Georgia fans have to be ready to go because UGA can use all the help they can get. Tennessee will be a very difficult opponent to beat, but this game is a must win for Georgia and Kirby Smart. So hopefully the GameDay atmosphere will help the Bulldogs and their fans do everything they can to come away with a win on Saturday.
