Georgia football has once again signed one of the top recruiting classes in the country. This fact has definitely become the norm as Kirby Smart is fresh off signing the No. 1 ranked class in the country last year with the 2024 class. That obviously is hard to live up to, but Georgia once again was knocking on the door of signing the best class with the 2025 class this year.
Georgia fell short of that goal by one spot on 247Sports and On3, but ESPN just released their final rankings for the 2025 class which gives the Bulldogs one final chance to finish with the best class. However, Georgia once again finds themselves at No. 2 which is the same spot as the other major recruiting sites.

Georgia finishes No. 2 in ESPN’s final recruiting rankings
As mentioned, Georgia finished the 2025 recruiting season with the No. 2 class in the country. The one team above Georgia is once again Texas, who signed the top class in the country on the other major recruiting sites as well.
Rounding out the top five is Oregon at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4 and Ohio State at No. 5. Georgia’s rival Auburn is next in line at No. 6.
According to ESPN’s rankings, Georgia signed 15 players that were included in their top 300. This is third best in the country as both Texas and Oregon each signed more players inside the top 300.
Georgia only signed two five-star players according to ESPN which is less than the other recruiting sites. Those players are defensive lineman Elijah Griffin and EDGE Isaiah Gibson. ESPN however only handed out five stars to 22 players which is 10 less than the other recruiting sites, so that explains the decreased amount for Georgia.
This recruiting class has all the makings of being one of the best classes Georgia has ever signed. And combining this class with the previous two elite classes shows that Georgia is not going anywhere anytime soon.
