Georgia football is in a very good place with their current recruiting class. They currently have the No. 3 ranked class in the country acording to 247Sports, which is a two spot impprovement after earning a commitment from the No. 1 defensive lineman in the class Elijah Griffin on Friday.

Griffin will likely be the biggest recruit in the Bulldogs' 2025 recruiting class, but there is another target out there who is just as important as he was.

Fellow five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry.

Terry is just as good as Griffin according to 247Sports as he is the No. 7 overall player in the country, according to their composite rankings. He is also the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 2 player from Georgia, with Griffin taking the top spot in both categories.

Terry is someone that has been trending to Georgia for some time now. He currently holds five crystal ball predictions on 247Sports in favor of Georgia, with the earliest prediction dating back to June 20.

As the recruiting cycle nears its end, Terry has announced that he will be making his commitment on the final day of the early signing period, which falls on Dec. 6 later this year.

We all saw how important having a dominant defensive line is against Texas this past weekend. The Bulldogs' defense and pass rush is one of the main reasons Georgia was able to knock off the No. 1 Longhorns. And there is no better defensive line duo in the 2025 class than Griffin and Terry.

Terry's commitment is still a month and a half away, so anything is still possible at this point. But this is a super critical recruitment for Kirby Smart and his staff to win.

This is a recruitment that could propel Georgia to No. 1 in the class rankings just like last year, so let's hope Smart can get Terry to the finish line and make Georgia that much better going forward.
