Florida's situation at quarterback has been one of the biggest talking points heading into Saturday's rivalry game with Georgia. After both of their quarterbacks were on the injury report at the start of this week, but it was Aaron Philo who was announced as their starter against Georgia.

This was a bit controversial because many Florida fans thought Tramell Jones deserved the start after leading them to an upset win at Texas in their last game. Florida however is riding with Philo, but news just broke that Jones, who was injured this week as well, is available to play against Georgia too.

Florida could play both QBs against Georgia

Georgia is better off facing Philo instead of Jones. Philo is more of a pure passing quarterback while Jones is a true dual-threat. Georgia's defense always seems to struggle against mobile quarterbacks too, so it was nice to see Philo get the start from that aspect.

Florida however could play Jones as well, and it would be silly for them not to after watching Auburn's quarterback run for 115 yards in their upset win in Athens two weeks ago.

If Florida were smart they would probably use both quarterbacks. It seems like they would let Philo take a vast majority of snaps, but they could sprinkle Jones in as well to let him challenge Georgia's run defense.

For Georgia's sake it would be nice if he doesn't play, but Florida has a chance to keep UGA on their heels if they play both quarterbacks.

Florida could be without their top two WRs

Florida got some last second bad injury news as well. Wide receiver Vernall Brown was ruled out for this game, and he is Florida's third leading receiver both in receptions and receiving yards. Fellow wide receiver Bailey Stockton is a game time decision on the ther hand, and he has the second-most receptions and receiving yards for Florida this season.

Florida still has their leading receiver Dallas Wilson available, but it will be tough for them to overcome missing their second and third best wide receivers if Stockton is ruled out as well. That is especially the case because Georgia safety KJ Bolden, who is a potential first round draft pick, is expected to play.

If both players are out then it would be tough for Florida to win. It would still be possible for them if they play both quarterbacks, but Georgia should like their chances even more if Stockton is ruled out as well.
