Whenever Georgia football has a rivalry game approaching, the discourse online always seems to ramp up even more. Everyone knows there is no love between Georgia and Florida, but that hatred grows exponentially when their annual meeting is one day away.

Countless posts from both fanbases have been sent throughout the last two weeks as this game has approached, but the official Florida Gators X account took things to another level on Friday with the below post.

Florida takes a shot at Georgia's driving abilities

This seems like a normal and thoughful post to share ahead of the big game on Saturday. Both programs should want both teams and fanbases to make the drive to Jacksonville safely, so at first glance this seems like that is all Florida is saying.

But after looking at this post for a little longer, it is clear that Florida is making fun of Georgia ahead of their game on Saturday.

We all know what has happened in the very recent history in the Georgia football program. Countless incidents have occurred with UGA's players and their behavior while driving. Now clearly that is a problem that needs to be addressed by Kirby Smart within the football program, but the Florida social media team is using this as an opportunity to make fun of Georgia.

Rivalry banter is one of the best things about college football. Two passionate fanbases going at each other is what makes being active on social media so fun. And this is just another example of that. Some may think this is a step too far, especially from an official Florida social media account, but it's all part of the rivalry between these two teams.

Florida likely knows they are severly overmatched on the field this weekend, so can we really blame them for getting their shots in now? My guess is that by 7:00 pm Saturday night, Florida fans will be very silent and it will be Georgia who will be having all the fun on social media.
