The rivalry between Florida and Georgia is certainly not one that many people want to mess with. The hate that these two teams have for each other long outlasts the years the players play in college, and Jacob Copeland is certainly showing proof of that.

On social media, Copeland decided to take a random shot at the Bulldogs, totally unwarranted. Let's talk about how the Bulldogs have beaten the Gators for quite a few years now, though, so Copeland may not have much to be taking random shots at Georgia. However, it seems like Copeland's hate certainly runs deep, as he didn't even finish his college career with the Gators; he transferred to Maryland for his junior season.

Copeland worked his way through NFL teams as he forwent his senior season to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Florida Gator went undrafted and signed initially with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. He has spent time with the Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers twice, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Kansas City Chiefs, before taking his talents to the UFL.

The Florida-Georgia rivalry couldn finally see some fireworks this season

The Florida Gators actually made some strides towards the end of the season last year to look like a team that has the potential to contend in 2025. Quarterback DJ Lagway is going to be a problem for defenses, and certainly a problem for Georgia's defense.

In the Florida-Georgia game this next season, there could be some real competition between the two teams as the Gators are going to bring everything they have to take down the Bulldogs. Maybe Copeland will even be in attendance just to try and tear down Georgia. However, the Bulldogs are coming back pretty strong in eh 2025 season as well, so the Gators probably won't have enough firepower this year, but they certainly can make a good effort.
