Every Georgia football fan probably remembers the name Dylan Raiola. He was a five-star quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class who was committed to Georgia but decided at the last second to flip his commitment to Nebraska.

Since then he went on to start two seasons at Nebraska where he and the Cornhuskers did not find much success. Then he has decided to enter the Transfer Portal this offseason before announcing a few days ago that he was transferring to Oregon,. But the Ducks now have other plans in mind as they've decided to pnish him in a very unique way.

Dylan Raiola learned what it feels like to be betrayed

Dante Moore was Oregon's quarterback this year and many believed he would be heading to the NFL after this season. He in fact was projected to be the second pick in this summer's NFL Draft, so a return to Oregon seemed unlikely. But only a few days after Raiola committed to Oregon Moore announced that he was coming back for another year.

So what does this mean for Raiola? He will now go from being a two-year Power Four starter and former five-star quarterback to riding the bench.

There is a chance that Raiola hasn't signed with Oregon yet, and if that's the case then he will definitely leave the Ducks and head elsewhere. But if he already signed with Oregon there might not be anything he can do but sit behind Moore next season.

Georgia fans however won't waste any amount of time feeling bad for him. Raiola broke Georgia's heart two years ago when he ditched the Bulldogs for Nebraska, and ever since then UGA has wanted nothing to do with him. So while this is a very unfortunate situation he now finds himself in, from Georgia's perspective he absolutely deserves it.
