Georgia linebacker Justin Williams was one of the highest ranked commits in UGA history when he chose the Bulldogs a few years ago. He was the No. 5 overall player in the country, and a ranking that high comes with astronomical expectstions.
Williams didn’t do a whole lot his freshman season, but that changed this last year when he was handed a much larger role. But now that he is heading into his third season his expectations are as high as they have ever been.
Williams understands how important he is to next year’s team, so he is taking this offseason very seriously. And even though it is still early in the offseason, Williams took to social media to show off his incredible body transformation in the weight room.

Justin Williams is ready for a much larger role at Georgia
Not only did Williams have a slow start to his career during his freshman season, but he was so slow to get going at the start of last year as well. That however changed in a hurry as he ended up totaling 36 tackles.
Williams will be expected to make an even greater impact this fall though as he will be one of the stars and leaders of Georgia’s defense. And that is a role he is already preparing for this offseason.
Williams is yet to record a sack in his career, and if Georgia is going to be successful in the fall that is going to have to change. He more than likely will be a starter, and any starting EDGE at Georgia is expected to get to the quarterback often.
So far this offseason though it looks like he is ready to make the jump that Georgia needs, because after a year where they struggled to get to the quarterback UGA needs to find a way to get more production from Williams and the rest of the Bulldogs at his position.
