Training camps are beginning to ramp up across the NFL as every team gears up for the upcoming 2025 season. This means that Georgia football fans can now look forward to updates about their favorite Bulldogs and how they are looking with the new season approaching.
Unfortunately for former Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh, he suffered a leg injury during practice on Saturday that could impact his third season in the NFL.

Former Georgia RB Kenny McIntosh suffers injury during Seattle Seahawks practice
According to the above report from Gregg Ball with the Tacoma News Tribune, McIntosh suffered a leg injury during the special teams portion of the Seattle Seahawks practice on Saturday. No official word has come out regarding the severity of this injury, but McIntosh was unable to put any weight on his left leg.
McIntosh had a solid four year career at Georgia from 2019 to 2022. He unfortunately did not see the field much his first three seasons, but his production ramed up a lot during his final year in Athens. During his final season in 2022, McIntosh recorded 150 carries and racked up 829 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also added 43 receptions for 505 yards and another two touchdowns as well.
McIntosh was then drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahwks. He unfortunately did not record any stats during his first year in Seattle, but he did collect 31 carries and 172 rushing yards last season. He did however find the end zone once through the air last season which so far is his only career touchdown in the NFL.
The hope now is that McIntosh did not suffer a significant injury because he was in store to be a bigger piece in the Seattle offense this season. So hopefully an injury update comes in soon sharing that his recovery time will be short so he won't miss any time this year.
