Four teams that could prevent Georgia from winning a National Championship

Kirby Smart once again has his Georgia football team playing some great football and looking like a true national championship contender.

Now while there is still a lot of work to do just for Georgia to make it into the College Football Playoffs, it is looking very likely that they end up as one of the 12 teams to do so. Assuming that is what ends up happening, Georgia as of today would have to love their chances at winning their third title in four seasons.

But there are a few teams out there that could realisitcally beat Georgia and win a national championship themseleves. As of today, four teams would fit in that category, so let's break them down one by one beginning with the No. 1 team in the country.

Oregon Ducks

The first and probably most obvious team to date that could prevent Georgia from winning a national championship is Oregon. The Ducks are 8-0 and the No. 1 team in the country, and have a very solid resume to back it up as well.

Oregon has three impressive wins this season including an early season three-point win against Boise State, a one-point win against Ohio State, and most recently a 38-9 demolition against a ranked Illinois team. However, all three of these wins came at home, so maybe they aren't as impressive as one might originally think.

But still, until Oregon lays an egg they will always be a team that is a legit contender to win a National Championship.
