Anyone could have afforded to buy stock in Georgia football this year. All offseason the consensus was that Georgia was going to be good, but they would be nowhere near as talented as their teams from a few years ago.
Gunner Stockton’s individual stock was even more affordable as countless college football talking heads predicted a bad season from him. But seven games into this year and Georgia is 6-1, No. 5 in the country, and a true title contender. And a lot of that is thanks to the play from Stockton over the last few weeks.
Georgia and Stockton’s stock price has skyrocketed because of their last few games, but that isn’t stopping Fox Sports analyst Chris Fallica from putting all his chips in the center of the table in favor of UGA.
Georgia in the national champion and Gunner Stockton as a Heisman finalist— it wouldn’t surprise @chrisfallica.

Fox Sports goes all in on Georgia, Gunner Stockton
Georgia still isn’t the favorite to win a National Championship or the SEC for that matter, but they are firmly in the conversation to accomplish both. The biggest reason why that is the case is because of Stockton’s dominant performance against Ole Miss last weekend.
Stockton went for five total touchdowns against the Rebels on Saturday. He had the Georgia offense humming so well that they never had to even punt the ball all game. This performance sent Stockton’s Heisman odd soaring while also making Georgia one of the favorites to win the SEC and a National Championship.
Fallica however is all in on the Bulldogs because he predicted that Georgia will make the National Championship game and Stockton will be a Heisman finalist.
Will either occur? Only time will tell, but as it stands today they both look like very realistic outcomes.
