You knew Georgia was going to bring in the heavy hitters for the Alabama game to make this a huge recruiting weekend.

The list of prospects that have already announced they are attending Saturday night's game is impressive, but don't be surprised if more names are added to the list in the next 48 hours. The bottom line is everyone who is anyone among the prospects in the 2027 class will try to make it to Athens this weekend.

When you check out the list, maybe the most intriguing name among the bunch is 4-star defensive back Justice Fitzpatrick. The Bulldogs will have an opportunity to lock in Fitzpatrick for this class as Miami has been making a huge run at the Fort Lauderdale-area prospect, and he's been to two Hurricane games this season, including last week's tilt against Florida.

This is going to be the Georgia staff's chance to show Fitzpatrick why he committed to the Bulldogs over the Hurricanes in the first place.

Even though the list had just 10 of the Georgia commitments in the 2026 class, it would be safe to assume that most of the members of the upcoming recruiting class will be present Saturday night.

The focus shifts to the 2027 recruiting class

With 31 commitments in the 2026 class, it's safe to say that Georgia is nearly done with 2026 recruiting, likely holding just a couple of spots for potential flips. That's why there's a large contingent of 2027 prospects on the attendees list and many of them are blue-chip prospects within the region.

Georgia currently has two players committed for 2027; 4-star defensive back Donte Wright from Long Beach, California and 3-star wide receiver Gavin Honore from Santa Ana, California. If there was a prospect to keep an eye on for a commitment this weekend, it would be 5-star edge rusher D.J. Jacobs

Jacobs, who is from the Atlanta area, has been high on Georgia and Tennessee, but he was at Notre Dame this past weekend and is also interested in FSU and Miami. He will receive a lot of attention from the Georgia staff on Saturday in hopes of getting an early pledge to kickstart the next recruiting cycle.
