Georgia once again expects to be one of the programs with the most players selected in this year's NFL Draft. Leading the charge as potentially the first Bulldog taken in the 2026 NFL Draft is linebacker CJ Allen.

Allen had a lot of pressure on his shoulders on Wednesday at Georgia's Pro Day. He decided to not participate at the NFL Combine last month, so his performance on Wednesday would have a huge impact on his NFL future.

Thankfully Allen put on one of the best performances of the day as he had heads turning from nearly every NFL representative that was in attendance.

CJ Allen cements himself as a future first rounder at Georgia's Pro Day

Draft experts did not know what to think of Allen after he skipped the Combine. Some still viewed him as one of the top players in the draft, but others had him slipping all the way towards the end of the second round. His performance on Wednesday however will end those debates as he likely cemented himself as a future first round pick.

His skillset on the field wasn't the only thing that stood out either as NFL executives loved his interview they conducted with him as well.

Allen had a remarkable three year career at Georgia. He played at a high level as a freshman in 2023 and he only raised his level of play from there. Allen concluded his Georgia career by tallying career highs in tackles (88), sacks (3.5), forced fumbles (2) and fumble recoveries (1) this past season.

At this point it is still unclear who is likely to select him in the draft, but he undoubtedly will hear his name called during the first round. But whichever organization takes a chance on him will not regret it as they will have a great player and an even better person joining their team.
