Alabama and Georgia football. There have not been any better programs in the SEC let alone all of college football over the last decade or so than these powerhouse programs. So whenever these two sides battle it out on the field it is a spectacle that takes over the entire college football world.
Georgia and Alabama have had plenty of battles on the field in recent years, and unfortunately for UGA those matchups have almost always gone the Tide's way. But the hope is that the tide (pun intended) is beginning to turn in Georgia's favor after they won the SEC and made the College Football Playoff last year while Alabama sat on the sideline and watched Georgia accomplish what they couldn't.
And while we wait for these two teams to play in the regular season again this coming season, these two programs will continue to do battle on the recruiting trail for many of the top recruits in the country. And according to Steve Wiltfong with On3, that is exactly what is happening with a four-star linebacker from Maryland.
4-star LB Nick Abrams is set to visit Georgia and Alabama next month, he tells @SWiltfong_πΆπ

4-star LB Nick Abrams
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Nick Abrams is the No. 286 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 23 linebacker in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 6 player from his home state of Maryland.
Not much is known about Abrams' recruitment right now, but one thing that has been made known is Alabama and Georgia will host the talented linebacker on visits later this spring.
It will be interesting to see how these visits go and if either program ascends to the top of Abrams' recruitment after they take place. But for now, two of the best programs in the country are battling it on the recruiting trail for an extremely talented linebacker, so this recruitment will be a fun one to watch.
