April 28th turned out to be quite an eventful day for Mike White and his Georgia basketball program, as it was announced via Dawg Recruiting that the Dawgs received transfer commitments from guards Jordan Ross and Marcus "Smurf" Millender.
Coming off of their most successful season in a decade, it has been well documented that Georgia has lost a lot of talent due to graduation and the transfer portal. So, restocking Georgia's cupboards has been White's main focus this offseason. And he has wasted little time doing just that.
Ross and Millender's announcements make five transfers that have committed to play for Georgia for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
It has been quite a haul for White so far this offseason, as Ross and Millender joins fellow transfers Jeremiah Wilkinson, Kanon Catchings and Justin Bailey that will be coming into Georgia's program.
Jordan Ross
Fresh off a 2025 NCAA Tournament appearance this past season, 6'3" guard Ross brings a winning mentality and big game experience as he transfers in from West Coast Conference champions St. Mary's College where he averaged 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Gaels.
This past season, Ross was instrumental in St. Mary's 59-56 first round victory in the 2025 NCAA Tournament against SEC foe Vanderbilt. Down by 12 points in the second half with their best player and two-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year Augustas Marciulionis out of the game due to foul trouble, Ross was the main conductor in a Gaels rally with 10 of his 15 points coming after Mariulionis's departure.
Ross will be a junior in the fall and has two years of eligibility remaining.
