Georgia basketball has arguably their biggest game of the season on Saturday as they travel to Alabama to take on the No. 4 team in the country in the Crimson Tide. Mike White and UGA know how big of a game this is because a win would put them in a prime spot to make the NCAA Tournament next month. A loss wouldn't hurt their chances, but a win would create a lot less stress for the rest of the seaosn.

Before the game gets here though, let's take a look at the final odds and make a quick prediction for this game.

Georgia vs. Alabama Final Odds

It won't be surprising to find out that Alabama is the heavy favorite in this game. As of 9:30 am EST on the FanDuel Sportsbook, the Tide are 12.5 point favorites over Georgia. They also have the over-under for this game set at 158.5 points. Even the ESPN Matchup Predictor loves Alabama in this game as they only give Georgia a 16.4 percent chance to win this battle as well.

Georgia vs. Alabama Prediction

It might seem pretty easy to predict the outcome of this game because of how much Georgia has been struggling in recent weeks. The Bulldogs did beat South Carolina earlier this week, but that came after losing four straight games which included a horrendous loss to Arkansas. So combining that with the fact that Alabama is one of the best teams in the country makes this game seem like a guaranteed loss.

But what if the Georgia team from a few weeks ago shows up that upset Kentucky? What if the Georgia team that only lost one game in the non-conference portion of the season shows up at Alabama. Maybe, just maybe they would be able to pull off this upset which would be their biggest win of the season by far.

But that is very unlikely to happen. Unfortunately, the most likely outcome is a big loss for the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Alabama wins 85-68
