Brock Bowers is one of the most unique and special football players to ever play for the Georgia Bulldogs. With the hands, speed, and route-running skills of a wide receiver, lining up at tight end makes him a nightmare for linebackers and safeties to cover.
On Sunday, after an extended absence with a knee injury, the three-time All-American, two-time John Mackey Award winner, and two-time National Champion burst back onto the scene with a ridiculous game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brock Bowers dominates in first game back vs Jacksonville
To be clear, the Las Vegas Raiders are not a very good team this year. Nonetheless, Bowers did as much as he could to keep them in this game Sunday afternoon.
Bowers caught 12 of hist 13 targets for 127 yards and a whopping three touchdowns. All were single-game records for the second-year tight end.
Bowers showed his patented blend of physicality and elite body control, reeling in his first touchdown on a beautiful 7-yard one-handed grab, falling backwards into the endzone just inside the front pylon.

The former Dawg also hauled in TD receptions of 27 and two yards from quarterback Geno Smith, but it unfortunately wasn't enough as Las Vegas lost a wild game in overtime 30-29.
Brock Bowers is finally healthy again
Bowers suffered a PCL sprain and a bruised knee in the first game of the season. He tried to play through it for several weeks, but was clearly hampered by the injury and wasn't himself. He and the club decided he would sit out three games to recover fully.
After this time off though, It was great for Georgia fans to see one of their most celebrated alums be back at 100 percent and looking like the freakish unicorn of an athlete that he is.
Bowers now looks poised to have a strong second half of the season and continue to make Bulldog Nation proud with his stellar play.
