Saturday marked the final day of the 2025 NFL Draft, which turned out to once again be a big showing for Georgia. On top of that, UGA added another transfer from the portal while their basbeall team got a massive series clinching win as well.

So let's dive right in beginning with all the noise Georgia made at the draft on Saturday.

Georgia loads up on picks during day three of the NFL Draft

Georgia football already had six selection in the NFL Draft as they entered day three, but with four more rounds to go everyone expected to see a lot of Bulldogs selected throughout Saturday. And that is exactly what happened as seven Bulldogs were selected throughout the day.

This gives Georgia 13 selections at this year's draft, which is just two players behind their record set in 2022 when they had 15 players drafted. Ohio State was the only team with more selections this year as they finished with 14, so thankfully the Buckeyes were unable to match Georgia's record from 2022.

New football transfer

The spring transfer portal window might be closed now, but there are still plenty of players still looking for new homes that are already in the portal. While Georgia has added a lot of talent already this spring, Saturday proved they weren't done yet as Georgia added UCF transfer offensive lineman Waltclaire Flynn. Jr.

Flynn did not play during his one season at UCF, so he still has four years of eligibility remaining. And while that may cause some people to think that he isn't that good, that is not the case as he was a four-star prospect and the No. 385 overall player out of high school. So this is just proof of how difficult it is to play as a true freshman in college on the offensive line.

It's unlikely that Flynn sees much time on the field at Georgia in 2025, but he will be a solid depth piece that has a chance to develop into a regular player in the years to come.

Baseball earns series win over Oklahoma

After splitting the first two games of their series with No. 14 Oklahoma, Georgia baseball entered the third and final game against the Sooners in a position where they needed to win to get their season back on track. And that is exactly what UGA did after a 6-3 win over the Sooners.

This takes Georgia to 12-9 in SEC play and 35-11 overall. The SEC regular season title may be out of reach now, but UGA has a lot to play for as they are still a top 10 team in the country with aspirations of making it to Omaha this season.

Up next for Georgia is a date with Kennesaw State on Tuesday before a three game series at Missouri next weekend.
