Georgia just can't stop beating their rivals. Whether it's in football, basektball or on the baseball diamond, they always seem to come out on top when they face one of their rivals.
But a big win on the field wasn't the only exciting news to happen on Saturday as the football program added a surprise legacy commit as well.
Football adds legacy recruit
Many people thought Georgia football had wrapped up their 2025 recruiting class, and considering it’s almost April that seemed like a fair assumption. But Kirby Smart and his staff had other ideas as they added defensive lineman London Seymour to their 2025 class on Saturday.
Seymour had previously been committed to Boston College, but he chose not to sign with them in December in hopes of receiving an opportunity like this from Georgia.
This name may sound familiar to you because his father, Richard Seymour, was a dominant force for the Bulldogs from 1997-2000.
Baseball sweeps Auburn
Georgia baseball beat Auburn on Saturday not once, but twice as they played two games to finish their weekend series to avoid the rain on Sunday. The Bulldogs also beat Auburn on Friday, meaning they earned their second SEC sweep of the season.
The series finale on Saturday was by far the best game as Georgia won 9-6 in 10 innings. The game was tied 4-4 after nine innings where the Tigers put up two runs in the top of the tenth. But Georgia's bats went to work and Daniel Jackson capped off the Bulldogs' rally with a three-run walk-off home run to win the game.

This improves Georgia's record to 28-2 on the season which is the best start in school history. The Bulldogs also sit atop the SEC standings, along with three other teams who only have one conference loss.
Georgia takes on Queens University of Charlotte on Tuesday in Athens before traveling to Texas next weekend for their next three-game series against the Longhorns.
5-star blunder
Georgia football is after many five-star players in the 2026 recruiting class, but unfortunately not all of those recruitments are going smoothly. Five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho was the latest five-star Georgia target to announce his top schools, and the Bulldogs were nowhere to be found in his top seven.

Iheanacho is the third five-star offensive lineman to exclude Georgia from their top list in the 2026 class. This is no reason to panic, but it is very unfortunate that the Bulldogs won't be adding one of the top offensive lineman in the country in this recruiting cycle.
