Can Jared Curtis come play for Georgia today? The five-star Georgia quarterback commit had his first high school regular season game of the year on Friday, and Curtis was as impressive as advertised all night long.

Considering Curtis is a five-star recruit, everyone expects him to dominate every time he takes the field in high school. But Curtis made so many plays on Friday that were remarkable even for someone with his expectations.

Just take a look at some of these throws he made on Friday.

Pay extra attention to this throw because it shows Georgia fans just how much zip Curtis can put on the ball at such a young age.

Curtis not only was dominant in the passing game, but he also showed off his legs as well. His best run of the night was seen in this clip below where he made a couple defenders miss en route to a big gain.

Curtis was even able to find the end zone using his legs as well.

Jared Curtis gives Georgia fans confidence for the future

Curtis can’t get to Georgia soon enough. Next year he will come to Athens looking to become the starter for Georgia the second he arrives on campus. That may be unlikely to happen as long as Gunner Stockton is still around, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him push Stockton next offseason.

Regardless of when Curtis takes over as Georgia’s starter, the future of UGA football is more than secure with him on the roster. If Curtis can play this well in high school, just imagine what he can do at Georgia with elite playmakers all around him. He has a chance to go down as one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the program, and that somehow isn’t a crazy thing to suggest.

Georgia fans better get used to watching Curtis’s highlights every Friday night this season, because this won’t be the last time he completely takes over a game the next few months..
