Georgia fans might be familiar with the name Kevin Wynn. He is a defensive tackle from the state of Georgia who was a member of the 2025 recruiting class who was one of the top players in the country, but instead of staying home and playing for Georgia he headed south to play for Florida State.
But after one season with the Seminoles he is now expected to enter the Transfer Portal, and Georgia could be the favorite to land him.

Former Georgia target could end up a Bulldog after all
Wynn only played in two games this season at Florida State where he recorded just one tackle. This however isn't because he is a bad player, he just needed a little more time to develop before he was ready to be a main contributor. Wynn however feels that Florida State is no longer the best place for him, and that could be good news for Georgia.
Coming out of high school Wynn was the No. 60 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports. He also was the No. 9 defensive lineman and No. 11 overall player from the Peach State. Wynn showed a lot of interest in Georgia throughout his recruitment, so much so that many recruiting experts believed that UGA finished second in his recruitment. But he ultimately chose Florida State which is a decision he has learned to regret.
It's unclear if Wynn has any interest in transferring to Georgia or not, but they are an obvious option for him. Not only would he be returning to his home state, but Georgia already has a good relationship with him that they built throughout his high school recruitment. And no one needs to be told how great Georgia is at developing defensive linemen either.
Wynn is yet to officially enter the Tranfer Portal, but that is the expectation at this point. And if he does Georgia is a team that could end up being the next school he plays for.
