Georgia DB makes incredible one-handed interception in UGA preseason hype video

Georgia football defensive back Ellis Robinson has a chance to be one of the best defenders on Georgia's defense this season. Georgia fans unfortunately didn't get to see him much on the field last season as a true freshman, but a recent social media post showed him hauling in an impressive interception this offseason.

It's time to buy stock in Ellis Robinson

Robinson struggled to see the field most of last season. In fact, he only recorded three tackles throughout the year. Most Georgia fans expected him to be more of a factor during the season because he was the No. 2 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class, but that unfortunately did not happen.

Last season is in the past now, so his lack of playing time no longer matters. But now that a few Bulldogs above him on the depth chart are no longer on the team, he will now have a chance to step in and be a regular player if not a starter this season.

Based on the above social media post, Georgia fans should expect a lot from Robinson this season. Not many players are able to haul in a one-handed interception like that, but to Robinson that is just another day in the office. It's plays like this that caused him to be ranked so high coming out of high school and why Georgia fans should expect big things from him this season.

The best part of all is that the rest of the country has likely forgotten about Robinson by now. But that is perfectly okay with UGA, because when everyone starts talking about him as someone who came out of nowhere this season, Georgia fans will know that Robinson's dominance was expected.
