It should not surprise anyone to find out that tickets to watch Georgia football this season are some of the most expensive tickets in the country. But how expensive it will be may surprise some people.

According to Dawg Post, the average ticket to watch Georgia play at home this season are reportedly the highest in the SEC at $277.38 per game.

Georgia's improved home schedule leads to record high ticket prices

According to the data in the above article by Dawg Post, Georgia's average home ticket price increased by a whopping 77 percent compared to the 2024 season where the average was at $157. So what is causing ticket prices to increase so much this season?

That answer is actually quite simple.

Georgia's 2025 schedule might just feature the most electric home slate in the history of Georgia football. The Bulldogs home schedule feautres three high profile games this year against Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss. All three of these games will see ticket prices soar above the listed average for Georgia's home games this season, but that won't stop UGA fans from packing Sanford Stadium.

Looking at Georgia's fourth game of the season against Alabama specifically, the average ticket price for this game currently sits at a whopping $726. This unsurpringly is the most expensive home ticket in the SEC right now and potentially could be the highest ticket price in the entire country this year. The only game that could rival this is the week one showdown between Texas and Ohio State.

Even though these prices are sky high, Georgia fans likely won't mind at all. Georgia fans eat, sleep and breathe UGA football, so they will be willing to pay any amount of money to watch their Bulldogs try to repeat as SEC Champions this season.
