Georgia fans will see red after reading CFP predictions from local radio personalities

Now that the 2025 college football season is underway, it seems everyone has published their own predictions. Atlanta Sports Radio 680 The Fan is no exception, and their crew of astute hosts and analysts all gave their thoughts on the 2025 College Football Playoff.

The good news? Every one of them had Georgia making the 12-team field. The bad news? Only one sees Georgia as the eventual national champion.

Starting with the venerable Chuck Oliver -- aka; the King of College Football. Chuck has Georgia entering the playoff as a No. 7 seed, but losing their second-round game to Penn State. His eventual champion -- Clemson.

Veteran sportscaster John Michaels has the Dawgs as a No. 1 seed, but then losing in the national championship game to Clemson.

Nick Cellini also has Georgia as the No. 1 seed, but couldn't resist his homer call of Ohio State winning the title over the Dawgs.

The man they call "Hometown" Brandon Leak wasn't very hometown-ish, bringing Georgia into the tournament as a No. 1 seed, but then losing to Oregon -- who he has picked as his eventual champion over Clemson -- in the semifinals.

Newcomer to the crew, Kelly Crull, has Georgia starting with the No. 5 seed and advancing all the way to the national championship game, where she thinks the Dawgs will lose to (ugh) Texas. Say it isn't so, Kelly!

Another longtime veteran on the mic, Chris Dimino, placed Georgia as the No. 1 seed, but like colleague Chuck Oliver, thinks the Nittany Lions will be too much for Georgia in the semifinals. Dimino has Texas taking down Penn State in the title game.

Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Brian Finneran thinks Georgia will pull a No. 5 seed draw, but (there's a pattern here) will lose to Penn State in the semifinals. Finneran's call is for Penn State to beat Clemson for the national title.

Former Georgia quarterback Buck Belue apparently has deferred.

And the lone holdout who thinks Georgia will go all the way and win their third national title in the last five seasons? None other than Matt Chernoff. Obviously, the smartest of the bunch.

Also worth noting: Ohio State homer Cellini is also the only one who had Georgia Tech in his bracket. I think we can go ahead and burn that one.
