Georgia football is off and running in the 2026 recruiting class. The Bulldogs have five commits in the class which may not seem like a lot, but it is good enough to be the No. 11 class in the country according to 247Sports right now.

Four of Georgia's commits are part of the 2026 high schoool class, meaning they are at center stage in the mind of recruiting experts across the country. This includes Rivals who just released an update to their player rankings in the 2026 recruiting class.

All four of Georgia's high school commits saw movement, but unfortunately it was not positive movement for them all.

Movement for Georgia's 4 class of 2026 commits

4-star WR Vance Spafford - No. 43 to No. 36

4-star Safety Jontavius Wyman - No. 111 to No. 96

4-star Safety Zech Fort - No. 133 to No. 135

4-star TE Lincoln Keyes - No. 137 to No. 156

Key Takeaways

Georgia's commits saw some mixed movement in Rivals' updated rankings. Two of Georgia's commits saw a lot of improvement which includes wide receiver Vance Spafford who jumped seven spots into the top 40. Safety Jontavius Wyman saw an even larger increase as he skyrocketed 15 spots and is now just barely inside the top 100.

On the other hand, two of Georgia's commits also dropped as well. Safety Zech Fort only dropped two spots, so that really isn't a big deal. However, tight end Lincoln Keyes fell a shocking 19 spots and is now outside the top 150. Even with this change for Keyes, Rivals is still much higher on him than other recruiting sites, but that unfortunately means there is a chance he could drop even more in the future.

Time will tell where these recruits end up in the rankings, but for now, Georgia's four high school commits are all inside the top 160 in Rivals' rankings which is an impressive feat.
