Flip season is in full force across college football and Kirby Smart is doing the best he can to work some magic in favor of Georgia. New reports have recently surfaced indicating that Georgia is making some moves with two recruits currently committed to other programs, and all signs are pointing towards UGA having a good shot at winning both recruitments.
4-star RB Amari Latimer - Wisconsin
Georgia could really use some running back help in their 2026 recruiting class. So far the Bulldogs only just one running back committed to their class in Jae Lamar who is beginning to take visits to a few other schools. So it would be wise for Georgia to add a second running back to their recruiting class, and Wisconsin commit Amari Latimer is the recruit the Bulldogs have identified and are targeting.

Tennessee, Florida State and Georgia Tech are also pushing to flip Latimer as well, but 247Sports has reported that Georgia is the team working the hardest to flip him. Latimer is fresh off a 200 yard performance in his most recent high school game, so the No. 20 running back in the country would clearly be a huge addition to Georgia's recruiting class.
3-star DB Markell Taylor - Cincinnati
The second recruit Georgia is attempting to flip is three-star safety Markell Taylor who is currently committed to Cincinnati. Georgia is finding more success in Taylor's recruitment so far as they reportedly hosted him on a visit this past weekend during their win against Marshall.
Cincinnati DB commit Markell Taylor has been hearing from Georgia a bit in recent weeks. He was on campus on Saturday for the first time and the Bulldogs laid the foundation with the North Paulding playmaker. #GoDawgs https://t.co/PT0npd2kKd pic.twitter.com/f4Stl9FGJd

If Taylor is going to flip to Georgia one would assume it would happen soon since he just wrapped up his visit to Athens. There is no indication yet that this is expected to happen, but Georgia is in a pretty good spot to win Taylor's recruitment right now.
