Georgia football and Kirby Smart are more than used to playing on the biggest stages in all of college football. Whether it be playing in the SEC Championship game, winning the College Football Playoff, or being part of the biggest regular season games every seasons, the Bulldogs are not afraid to perform on the biggest stages the sport has to offer.

A new event has just been announced that will begin with the 2025 season, and that is the Invesco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic created by AMB Sports and Entertainment. Their goal with this new annual event is to "host powerhouse college football programs and storied rivalries on one of college football's biggest stages."

This classic will occur every season with hopes of "showcasing marquee programs from across the country, creating can't-miss moments for fans and a major stage for student-athletes at Mercedes-Benz Stadium."

Georgia football will headline this event for the next two seasons

This event is set to take place in Atlanta every season at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so it isn't surprising to find out that Georgia will be featured in it this upcoming season. The Bulldogs regular season finale against Georgia Tech this year, a game already scheduled to played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will be the first edition of this new college football classic. Georgia will also be featured in 2026 when they take on the Florida Gators in Atlanta next season as well.

No games have been announced for this event beyond the 2026 season, and there is also no guarantee that Georgia will be featured in the event every year. But it would not be surprising to see UGA continue to be the headliner for this event because Georgia is one of the top programs in the region while also being located extremely close to Mereces-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

So if this event wants to succeed, they would be wise to schedule Georgia as often as possible.
