Georgia football is only hosting five recruits on their official visits this weekend, but the Bulldogs are reportedly about to witness some major recruiting news.
On3's Hayes Fawcett is as plugged into the national recruiting scene as any other insider in the country, so the below post he just sent on Sunday X is reason enough for Georgia fans to get very excited.

This post can only mean one thing, Georgia is going to earn at least one commitment very soon. But could there be more than one recruit ready to announce their commitment to Georgia?
Georgia insider prepares Georgia for massive recruiting run
After seeing this post from Fawcett, Georgia insider Brooks Austin with Georgia Bulldogs on SI reached out to some of his contacts in the football program to see what UGA fans can expect. And the below quote indicates that Georgia could earn upwards of 10 commitments in the next 10 days.
"Bulldogs on SI then texted sources inside the building, and was notified that they are expecting to go on a tear in Athens over the coming weeks," Brooks Austin said via si.com. "One source said as many as (10) potential commits in the coming ten days, spanning both the 2026 and potentially 2027 classes."
It's unclear who these commitments could come from, but top recruits like offensive tackle Malaki Lee and EDGE Khamari Brooks have upcoming announcements that could go Georgia's way. On top of that, four-star running back Jae Lamar and four-star defensive lineman Valdin Stone are both in Athens this weekend and could be ready to commit to Georgia right now.
Regardless, this is an extremely exciting time to be a Georgia fan because it is just a matter of time now until some commits start coming Georgia's way. So be on the lookout, because that news could start coming any second now.
