The spring transfer portal window is officially open, and that means it is time for Georgia football to go out and add more talent to their roster as they look to repeat as SEC Champions in 2025 and make a run at the National Championship. But what positions will Georgia look to add in the transfer portal?

As fans it is hard to know what to expect, but thankfully Rivals insider Anthony Dasher shared which positions he has heard Georgia will be looking to target in the transfer portal.

3 positions Georgia will target in the portal

According to Dasher, Georgia will look to add players from the portal at EDGE, defensive line and cornerback. Dasher believes there is too much youth at EDGE and on the defensive line right now, so bolstering up those positions will be critical if Georgia wants to have a dominant front line like they are used to having on defense.

Corner on the other hand is a position where Georgia does already have a lot of depth, but Kirby Smart has shared in the past that he believes you can never have too much talent at that position, so it's likely he looks to add even more depth at corner.

On top of these three main positions, Dasher believes Georgia could also look to add an offensive tackle and quarterback this spring as well. These two positions aren't as important for Georgia right now, but they are positions that could be targeted as well.

There is always a chance that some positions not listed could become a priority based on who enters the portal and decides to leave Georgia. At this time no Bulldog has announced they plan to do so, but it is just a matter of time until some Bulldogs start deciding to do so.

So stay tuned as these next few days will be very busy as the transfer portal will be extremely active.
