Georgia football so far has been having a very successful signing day. All of the recruits committed to the class were signing their letters of intent while UGA was also able to hold off other schools making late pushes for their recruits.
However, it hasn’t been a perfect day by any means as Georgia has lost a big time commitment on signing day to Florida State.

4-star RB Ousmane Kromah
Ousmane Kromah is a four-star running back from Leesburg, GA. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the No. 73 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 4 running back in his class as well as the No. 10 player from Georgia.
Kromah originally committed to Georgia in early October, but even after that commitment he remained very interested in Florida State. Kromah even took a visit to Florida State this past weekend, which was a sign that Georgia was maybe losing ground in this recruitment.
And unfortunately Kromah made the official decision to decommit from Georgia and sign with the Seminoles.
This clearly is a big loss for Kirby Smart and Georgia’s 2025 recruiting class based simply on the fact that he is a top 100 player and a top five running back in the 2025 class. It’s also a tough loss because UGA only has one other running back in this class in three-star Bo Walker. So as it stands right now, Georgia doesn’t have a dynamic recruit at running back coming into this recruiting class.
However, there is no need for Georgia to panic. UGA is expected to return a lot of running backs from this year’s team next season and can even go after a big name running back in the transfer portal if Smart feels the need to. So while Kromah would have been a huge addition to the class, this is thankfully not something that will cause the sky to fall in Athens.
