4. OL Tate Ratledge declares for the NFL Draft
The next news that came out for Georgia is one of many players declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. And the first player to do that over the past two days was offensive lineman Tate Ratledge.
Ratledge had a stellar career at UGA that saw him blossom into one of Georgia’s best offensive lineman. Unfortunately Ratledge went through a few injuries this past season that saw him miss some time, but that didn’t stop him from impressing everyone in the country and earning some postseason awards.
Ratledge earned Third Team All-American honors according to the Associate Press as well as First Team All-SEC honors from the AP and coaches as well. So even though Ratledge was injured most of the season and never 100 percent healthy, he was still one of the best lineman in the country.
Ratledge will be tough to replace next season, but it will be very exciting to see which NFL team ends up drafting him.
