8. WR Arian Smith declares for the NFL Draft
The next player from Georgia to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft is wide receiver Arian Smith.
It is no secret that Georgia's wide receiver room struggled this season and had their issues catching the ball, and Smith was part of those problems, but Smith also was one of the top receivers for Georgia this season. He finished the season with 48 receptions for a whopping 817 yards and four touchdowns.
So while NFL teams will see the struggles that Smith had this season, they will also see how productive he was which will likely earn him a very high draft pick later this summer.
Losing Smith and the already mentioned Evans is a big loss for the Georgia wide receiver room. Thankfully Smart and his staff were able to earn a commitment from Branch to help make up for these losses, but Georgia likely still needs a little more help heading into next fall. Thankfully it appears they are getting that help in the form of another transfer wide receiver.
