Georgia football's injuries reach an all time high on latest injury report
Georgia football is one day away from their second to last game of the regular season against UMass. While this game is very easy on paper, the Bulldogs can't afford to lose focus. There is too much on the line for their College Football Playoff hopes that even a close win in this game could really hurt their chances of qualifying.
And while Georgia should have no issues blowing this UMass team out who just had their head coach fired earlier this week, there is one thing that could cause some issues.
Injuries.
The biggest talking point this season has been the vast number of injuries Georgia has had to deal with, and that isn't changing this week. In fact, the injuries have hit an all time high as even more players have been added to the latest injury report from Kirby Smart.
Updated Georgia Injury Report

DB Joenel Aguero | Questionable |
The obvious thing that stands out on this report is that Georgia's running back room is still in a world of trouble. Trevor Etienne, Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson are all out, as well as wide receiver Dillon Bell who took some snaps at running back during Georgia's win over Tennessee as well. UGA was able to survive against Tennessee last week, so in theory they should be find this week as well, but this is a little scary for the future beyond the UMass game.
Even though the injuries are stacking up for Georgia this week, there may be a good explanation for this. UGA does not need all of their star players to beat UMass. The don't even need them to win by a large margin. But Georgia does need these guys next week against Georgia Tech and in the CFP, so Smart may just be resting these players this week as a precaution so they can be healthy next week.
