Game day No. 2 is officially here as Georgia football is ready to take on Austin Peay at home in Sanford Stadium.

The Governors are fresh off an impressive week one victory as they defeated Middle Tennessee 34-14 on the road. Georgia is also coming in hot as they took down Marshall in their week one showdown 45-7, but only one team will leave on Saturday with their heads held high.

This game sounds like it will heavily favor Georgia, and according to Vegas that is 100 percent the case.

Georgia vs. Austin Peay Final Odds

As of 9:00 pm EST on Saturday, Sep. 5, Georgia is a 48.5 point favorite against Austin Peay according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over-under for this game is set at 55.5 points as well.

ESPN also agrees that Georgia is a massive favorite as they give UGA a 99 percent chance to win this game.

Georgia vs. Austin Peay Prediction

It is pretty pointless to predict who will win this game because there is no chance Georgia falls to Austin Peay. So the only thing Georgia fans should be discussing is if UGA will cover this monster spread.

Last week the Bulldogs came up just short in covering the spread against Marshall as the Bulldogs were 38.5 point favorites and won by 38 points. This result really wasn't all that surprising because Georgia has never covered a spread that large during Kirby Smart's tenure. This stat indicates that Georgia likely won't cover the spread against Austin Peay either, but Saturday will be different.

Georgia's offense will score a touchdown almost every time they touch the ball, and UGA's defense will force some turnovers and score a touchdown of their own. So this week the Bulldogs will finally find a way to cover this big of a spread, but it will be extremely close.

Prediction: Georgia wins 52-3
