Georgia football has another tough test in front of them as they welcome in-state rival Georgia Tech to Sanford Stadium for some Friday night football.

Whenever UGA plays the Yellow Jackets, the assumption is that they are going to win. The better question usually is how much people think Georgia will win by. That once agains is the case this season as the Bulldogs are massive betting favorites over Georgia Tech.

While Georgia is the overwhelming favorite in this game, Georgia Tech does have an advantage. The Bulldogs played on Saturday last week while the Yellow Jackets played on Thursday, so Georgia Tech has two extra days of rest going into this game compared to UGA.

Will this be enough for Georgia Tech to overcome the large talent gap that exists between these two teams? Likely not. But it is something worth mentioning and monitoring as the game gets underway.

But there is just too much on the line in this game for Kirby Smart and Georgia. A win and UGA likely will clinch their spot in the College Football Playoff, which would be a very nice thing to not have to worry about anymore.
