Georgia is ready to get the sour taste out of their mouth after losing to Alabama last week. Thankfully they have another home game up next as the Kentucky Wildcats make the trip to Athens.
Kentucky is one of the last schools anyone thinks of when they think about SEC football. They typically are one of the bottom feeders in the conference, and so far that is the case this season. So this not only is a game Georgia should win, it’s a game they should win by a large margin.
Georgia vs Kentucky final odds
To no one’s surprise, Georgia is favored by 19.5 points against Kentucky, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over-under for this game is set at 48.5 points as well.
ESPN’s matchup predictor is also extremely high on Georgia as well as they give the Bulldogs a 90.3 percent chance to win this game.
Georgia vs. Kentucky prediction
Kentucky enters this game viewed as one of the worst teams in the SEC. They sit at just 2-2 after losses to Ole Miss and South Carolina. Their two wins against Toledo and Eastern Michigan weren’t very convincing either.
Georgia on the other hand comes into this game as desperate as any team in the country. They have to get their season back on track because one more loss would make it nearly impossible for them to repeat as SEC Champions this season.
Normally this would be an easy game for Georgia to overlook, but the Wildcats have UGA’s full attention after the Bulldogs loss to Alabama last week. And that unfortunately is the last think Kentucky wanted to happen heading into this matchup.
Georgia will easily win this game, so it’s just a matter of how much they will win by. The Bulldogs are in a position where they have to show the college football world what they are capable of, and in order to do that they have to blow Kentucky out.
And that’s exactly what they’re going to do.
Prediction: Georgia wins 38-10
