Georgia football is putting a wrap on their first big official visit weekend. This past weekend, Kirby Smart and his staff welcomed nine elite recruits to campus for their official visits. Of those nine recruits, eight of them are four-stars with the ninth recruit being a five-star, so that speaks to how impressive of a list of visitors Georgia was able to put together this weekend.
One of those visitors is four-star wide receiver Ryan Mosley, who was pictured with Smart during Georgia's scavenger hunt.

Georgia and South Carolina battling for Ryan Mosley
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Mosley is the No. 183 overall player in the country and the No. 27 wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class. Based on his raking alone, it's clear how important of a recruitment this is. Whenever Georgia is aggressively targeting a top 200 player, UGA fans will want to pay close attention, but Mosley's recruitment is extra important because of how competitive it is.
Mosley has official visits scheduled in the coming weeks with Alabama, South Carolina, Nebraska and Texas A&M, but there is one school that stands out that looks to be Georgia's biggest competition. That school is South Carolina, who actually received three crystal ball predictions from 247Sports in their favor back in January and February.
Georgia however has responded and has received two predictions of their own in the past few days. So that may indicate that Georgia is the team to beat right now.
Another reason to be excited about this recruitment is due to this comment from Rivals insider Radi Nabulsi on Saturday.

It will be interesting to see if Mosley’s visit this weekend will push Georgia further up his list, but for now UGA fans will likely have to wait and see how his other scheduled visits go. But this post from Nabulsi does make it seem like a commitment could be coming soon.
